Human capital at the core of Newmore

At Newmore we do more than just finance. We are a group of highly capable business leaders with a wealth of experience across all the key disciplines in business. In particular we are B2B sales and marketing experts with a strong bias for digital.

We are not just looking to financially engineer your business to make more profits although that can be part of our strategy. We, first and foremost look to grow the businesses we invest in, a minimum of 15% YOY in revenue growth through the deployment of a range of sales and marketing tools and strategies that are tried and tested in a range of sectors and sizes of companies. We have an extensive network of very experienced, senior people who we can bring into run and support businesses, including Managing Directors, General Managers, Finance Directors and Sales and Marketing professionals. In addition we have access to a number of high quality external advisors who can make a difference.

Partial exit

You may want to sell some of your business but not all of it. You may be looking to wind down, but not go and retire to the golf course just yet.

Because we at Newmore have access to the talent and experience from our extensive corporate networks, and that talent and experience can drive your business to the next level, you may wish to only partially exit your business, and stay in for the ride with a minority stake that could potentially make you as much than the majority stake you sold on day one. Lets take an example;

Say your business is valued at 4x EBITDA and your EBITDA today is 750k.
That would provide an enterprise value of 3m if you had a 100% exit.
However if you only sold 75% you would receive 2.25m.

If the company was to grow its profits 20% YOY for 4 years, due to the experience and expertise we believe we can bring to your business, then the EBITDA of the business would be just over 1.5m.

However the business is now at a level of profitability that may attract trade and potentially PE buyers and its possible that the business could then be sold for a 6x multiple , hence valuing a 25% stake at another 2.25m, doubling your overall value .

 

Now of course there is no guarantee of this upside, but we believe with the right people, the right strategies and the right ambition its very possible .
